Assault charge dismissed
EXETER — A charge of
assault with a weapon
was dismissed against
Brent Tatara Aug. 26 in
Exeter court before
Justice R.G. Hunter.
Tatara had been
charged resulting from
an incident Sept 10 in
Huron Park for his use of
a slingshot.
Tatara pleaded not
guilty to the charge.
He testified he was
aiming at a tree when he
hit Paul
Harvey
who was
riding a
dirt bike
past
Tatara's
residence
when he was struck with
a ball bearing.
Failure to comply
Philips E. Brooks' of
Exeter pleaded not guilty
to charges of failure to
comply with probation
stemming from two inci-
dents in Exeter Feb. 6-7.
A resident in Brook's
building testified Brooks
violated his probation by
entering her apartment.
The charges were dis-
missed.
Impaired
Kenneth Linker of
Parkhill pleaded guilty to
a charge of over 80 mg.
stemming from an inci-
dent Dec. 22 on
Bluewater Highway.
Police were dispatched
to a report of a vehicle in
a ditch and upon arriv-
ing noticed the driver
was showing signs of
impairment.
Linker was arrested
after failing a breath
test. He was found guilty,
fined $850 and given a
12 month driving ban.
Impaired
Michael K. Webster of
London pleaded guilty to
a charge of over 80 mg
stemming from an inci-
dent May 24.
Webster was stopped
by police while driving
through southbound
through
Exeter at
140 km/h.
After fail-
ing a breath
sample, he
was charged.
Webster
was fined $750 and
given a 12 month driving
ban.
Possession
Dennis T. Cassie Jr.
was given a conditional
discharge on a charge of
possession of a sub-
stance resulting from a
incident May 22.
Cassie Jr. pleaded
guilty and was placed on
probation for six months.
Possession
Charles E. Herd -man
of London pleaded not
guilty to possession of a
substance stemming
from an incident Oct. 16.
Herdman was the dri-
ver of a vehicle involved
in a two -vehicle accident
at Hwy. 81 and Parr
Line.
After police responded
to the accident,
Herdman was found to

be in possession of sev-
eral vials of cannabis
resin.
Herdman was found
guilty and given a $500
fine.
Refusing sample
Robert J. Pavkeje of
Kirkton pleaded guilty to
a charge of refusing a
screening sample result-
ing from an incident Dec.
11.
Pavkeje failed to stop
for a spot check and was
followed to his residence
by police, who noticed an
odor of alcohol.
After refusing to pro-
vide a sample, Pavkeje
was charged.
He was found guilty,
given a $1,200 fine and a
12 -month driving ban.
A charge of failure to
stop for police was with-
drawn.

Beierling (First Class Honours/FCH);
Theory Two - Carly Schroeder and
Emma Delitala (Both First Class
Honours with Distinction); Theory
Three - Emmett O'Reilly (FCH); Theory
Four - Amber Lee Overholt (FCH).
Those passing Grade One piano are
Rebecca Hern, Morgan Dykstra and
Dawn Regier (Both achieved Honours),
Morgan Pockett, Lauren Leis, Kelly
Pfaff, Olivia Papple and Kristina Eilers
(all FCH). Grade Three piano results
