POLICE BRIEFS Youth charged with assault SOUTH HURON — Huron OPP have charged a young male for assault causing bod- ily harm after an inci- dent July 10 at approx- imately 10:30 p.m. According to police, a young couple arranged a meeting with another young male over an ongoing dispute between the two males. The three met at the Centralia ball park just off Melbourne Street where a verbal con- frontation led to an alleged assault. The victim left immediately and was taken to South Huron Hospital for medical attention.
