According to police, someone entered an unlocked
shed at an apartment complex on Carling Street in
Exeter and stole a pink Supercycle Model Cream Soda
20 inch BMX Deluxe with Y frame. The youth's single
speed bike is valued at $110.

Middlesex OPP officers received a tip they had been
seen together in the village of Granton July 31. After
an extensive search, they were found hiding in tall
weeds behind a barn at 8 p.m. The youths mocked
police during their arrest, stating it took long enough
for police to find them.
The two 15 -year-old females were arrested and will
be held for a bail hearing on one count each of
breaching court orders.
cooking with memories
BY DEBBY WAGLER
IN THE SUMMER I LIKE NO -COOK RECIPES FOR THE QUICK
TREATS. THE FOLLOWING COOKIES ARE KNOWN AS BUGS
AT OUR HOUSE.THIS HAS TO BE MY YOUNGEST SON'S
FAVORITE COOKIE AND IF I DON'T PUT SOME HIDDEN
AWAY HE GENEROUSLY HELPS HIMSELF AND ALL OTHERS
ONLY GET TO SAMPLE A FEW REMAINING COOKIES. THEY
CAN BE CHANGED BY ADDING A VARIETY OF THINGS TO
THE BASIC RECIPE. JUST KEEP THE DRY INGREDIENTS TO
ABOUT THE SAME MEASUREMENTS!
BUGS
I cup semisweet chocolate chips
I cup butterscotch chips
114 cup butter or margarine
I/4 cup smooth peanut butter
I cup peanuts
2 cups dry chinese noodles (the ones in the can are
the nicest)
Melt the first 4 ingredients in the microwave or on the
stovetop. Remove from heat when smooth and add dry
ingredients. Spoon onto a cookie sheet with waxed paper in
small mounds. Put in fridge to chill and then store in a
covered container. These cookies freeze well too so I
usually make a double batch.
Try these other ingredients: dried cranberries, pretzels,
raisins, dates, and/or mixed nuts. Enjoy.

BASEMENT FLOOR PLAN
Plan H9-3-202 Practical Small House Here's a compact two-level that's perfect for a narrow lot. The house is just 25 feet wide, yet it has three
bedrooms, a spacious great room and an unfinished recreation room. The single car garage is recessed into the main floor. Adding to the home's
street appeal, the exterior is accented with traditional country finishing's, including shingle siding on the upper level, decorative support posts and a
peaked cover over the second level sun deck. The front door is at the edge of the house, a placement that conserves space and directs traffic directly
to the staircase leading to the second floor. To the right, a half -wall reveals a small computer room with an arched doorway. A coats cupboard and a
storage cupboard complete the finished area of the main floor. Beyond the foyer, ample unfinished space exists for a future recreation room, bathroom
and laundry. The stairs lead to an informal great room with a vaulted ceiling. The dining area has double doors that open to a covered deck
overlooking the front yard. The sitting area in the great room is accented by a stylish arched window and a gas fireplace.
The corner kitchen has a work island with a built-in dishwasher, dual sinks and a raised eating bar. The range, fridge and sinks are spaced to create
an efficient working triangle. Three bedrooms at the rear of the home share the three-piece bathroom. This layout could easily be reconfigured to two
bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, if desired. This house is 25 feet wide by 56 feet deep. It has 1,150 square feet of living space on the main
floor. Plans for design H9-3-202 are available for $436 (set of 5), $502 (set of 8) and $544 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7.5% Prov. Sales
Tax. Also add $20.00 for Priority courier charges within B.C. or $40.00 outside of B.C. Please add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both
