Missing
man located
successfully
DASHWOOD — A Dashwood male
who went missing Sunday was located
successfully.
Huron OPP was contacted about a
missing male Aug. 1 at approximately
9:45 a.m..
According to police, Stanley Hall
from Dashwood left for work at Pearl
Onion Growers on Grand Bend Line at
6 a.m. He left his family residence on a
black Cruiser bicycle to arrive at work
for 7 a.m., but never arrived.
Officers from South Huron, North
Middlesex and North Lambton exten-
sively searched areas around the route
he would have taken to work.
The family indicated Hall, who is
handicapped, may have become disori-
ented and would continue to ride his
bicycle looking for his place of work.
He was located on his bicycle near
Parkhill at 9:30 p.m. A truck driver
who had heard about the missing male
came across someone who fit Hall's
description at 9:15 p.m. and notified
OPP.
Huron OPP would like to thank the
public for their assistance in helping to
locate this disorientated male and the
truck driver who took the time to
make the call to police. The family is
very thankful that Stanley has been
returned.
