Everyone sang the Introit and people greeted one another with a hand- shake. Ray Cann gave greetings and the announcements and led in the Call to Worship. Ruth Anne Osgood led in the Prayer of Approach, Lord's Prayer and Affirmation of Faith in unison. Jessica Bray lit the Christ Candle. Murray Mitchell told a story with a colouring book. Mitchell also spoke about children in Haiti who have nothing. The choir sang Count On Me accompanied by organist Marilyn Vandenbussche. IIelen Weston was the leader in the responsive reading. Osgood read the Scripture, Romans 12:9- 18 and introduced Murray Mitchell of St. Marys (who belongs to a Hope of Haiti group based in St. Marys) as guest speaker, group leader spoke at the church for Mission Sunday on the many pro- jects that the group has undertaken in the past 12 years. He was thanked by Weston and presented with an envelope. Lorraine Alexander and Helen Webber received the offering as well as being THAMES ROAD NEWS greeters. Cann gave the Offertory Prayer. The women of the choir sang We Sing of Faith to Our Fathers accompanied by Marilyn Vandenbussche. Osgood led in the Litany of Reconciliation. The closing hymn, Make Me a Channel of Your Peace, was sung. All repeated the Benediction and Commissioning and sang May the God of Hope Go With Us. Everyone went downstairs where they enjoyed cake, ice cream and beverage. Announcements July 4 and 18 there will be a hymn -sing starting at 9:45 a.m. Please write your favorite hymns on a piece of paper and place in the offering plates. Reminder: Usborne Central Public School's 40th Anniversary is fast approaching on Sat., July 10. Please get your regis- tration package returned to Laurie Dykstra. Meal tickets are now available. If you need to reach them over the summer leave a message on the answering machine which will be checked daily. When orders are received during this time you will be contacted upon arrival of order and arrangements for pickup. June 27 - Ecumenical Service will be held at MacNaughton Park, Exeter at 10:30 a.m. with potluck lunch after the service. In case of rain, the service will be held in Exeter United Church. July 4 - Kirkton Union Cemetery decoration ser- vice at the cemetery on Sunday July 4 at 7:30 p.m. Please bring lawn chairs. Aug. 21 - Calls and Prayers for Freedom: Women in Islam with Raheel Raza at the Grand Bend Legion at 7 p.m. $5 per person or $10 per family. Aug. 22 - Jesus and Islam with Raheel Raza at Greenway UC at 9:30 a.m. and Grand Bend UC at 11 a.m. Sept. 11 - The Finance Committee is hosting a Golf and BBQ Fundraiser at 3 p.m. at Exeter Golf Club. We're glad to say that normal business has resumed at RBC. Here are answers to the questions you're asking. ARE MOST CHARGES REVERSED AUTOMATICALLY? Yes. On June 8, we began to automatically reverse, wherever possible, banking service charges, fees and overdraft interest that our RBC clients may have been charged as a result of our recent processing disruption. The vast majority of necessary adjustments will likely be completed by June 30. After June 30, if you see a charge due to the processing disruption that has not been corrected, please bring it to our attention. Contact your branch, business centre or call 1 -800 -ROYAL 1-1 (1-800-769-2511). Other financial institutions are following similar procedures for their clients. If you think you've been affected, please contact your financial institution. I INCURRED OTHER COSTS. WILL I BE REIMBURSED? We will provide reimbursement for substantiated costs and losses directly resulting from the processing disruption. Here's the process: starting June 21, 2004, clients of RBC and clients of other financial institutions can obtain a Claim Form from any RBC Royal Bank branch, business centre or by calling 1 -800 -ROYAL 1-1 (1-800-769-2511). A Claim Form can also be downloaded in PDF format from www.rbc.com/clientnews Claim Forms for up to $100 with supporting documentation delivered by RBC clients to their branch will be processed by the branch. Our employees will provide you with any assistance you require in submitting your claim.
