Christina's parents Tony
and Alma Dayman of
Hensall for a social time
before the dinner and
reception which was held
at the Hensall Community
Centre.
The foot -care clinic will
be held at Maplewoods
Apartments on Mon., June
14 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The cost is $10. Please
bring a towel along.
On Sat., May 29 Hilda
Lansbergen and her
grandson Montana and
Marianne Ducharme and
her daughter Shawna
travelled with their horses
to Elmira. They took part
in the Flame of Hope trail
ride and carriage drive for
diabetes. A great day was
had by all who participat-
ed. They thank everyone
who supported them.
Rebecca Skinner, daugh-
ter of Rick and Cathy,
made her confirmation on
May 30 at the Zion
Lutheran Church in
Dashwood, followed by a
family get-together at
their new home at
Parkside in Zurich.
Art and Pauline Miller
are happy to announce
the arrival of their fifth
grandchild, a boy. Jackson
Bradley was born on May
27 to proud parents Julie
and Brad Beattie of Grand
Bend.
Some Bedard relatives
from the Zurich area trav-
elled to Windsor this past
week to attend the funeral
and visitations for Wayne
Bedard who died on June
3. He was the son of Clem
Bedard.

buddies at the Rest Home

Wednesday Corky and
friends will be playing
some music for the resi-
dents at 6:30 p.m.
Grade 3 and 4 students
of St. Boniface School
went on a trip to the
museum in Stratford on
June 1. Grade 4 to 8
attended the playhouse in
Grand Bend last week.
Grade 2 and 3 spent
Tuesday in Wawanosh.
Grade 5 went to the
Ontario Science Centre on
June 11. Grade 1 class trip
is to Storybook Gardens in
London. St. Boniface will
attend the track and field
day in Goderich on June 9.

Community Development
Foundation committee are
to be congratulated on
another terrific job well
done and a very successful
grand opening and fun
day on the weekend for
the new complex in
Zurich. Entertainment on
Saturday afternoon was
provided by five groups.
There was a large audi-
ence on the ice surface
enjoying the music. It was
great to hear Joe
Overholt's band again and
many enjoyed dancing to
their music. It was just
like old times. The
Firemen's Breakfast on
Sunday morning was deli-
cious.
Chris and Sandra Regier
spent the weekend in
Montreal. Happy 60th
birthday to Ron Schroeder
recently.

held a Science and
Technology Career Fair
Day on June 3. It was very
interesting and education-
al for students Grades 4 to
8 from Zurich Public,
Hensall Public School and
St. Boniface School.
Recently the Zurich Public
School Grade 7 and 8 stu-
dents travelled to Wilfred
Laurier University in
Waterloo for their year-
end class trip. Recently
Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7
attended the play Secret
Garden at the Huron
Country Playhouse.
Grades 2, 3, and 4 are
travelling by bus to
Ausable Bayfield
Conservation Dam on Fri.,
June 11. Kindergarten
children are going to
McCulley's Morrison Dam
on June 10.

the movie. She plays hock-
ey in Calgary. Jennifer will

She has spent the past five
months as an exchange
student in Finland. A fam-
ily get-together was held
on Fri., June 4 at her par-
ents' home, Phil and
Laurie Erb.
