Harry was the founder of Hayter's Turkey Farms and was committed to his commu- nity by serving on South Huron Hospital Board, Huron County Board of Education, Dashwood Medical Centre Board, Dashwood Men's Club, Grand Bend Probus Club and as a member of Zion Lutheran Church held many positions including Elder and Chairman. Always for the betterment of agriculture, Harry devoted his time as a member of Ontario Federation of Agriculture, Huron County Cattlemen's Association and Ontario Turkey Producer's Marketing Board. Predeceased by her husband Mike Hodgert (1976). Survived by her son Leonard Hawkins and his wife Janice of St. Marys, grandchildren Steven and Sandra Hawkins of Des Moines, Iowa, Laurie and Dan Dowling of R.R. #1, St. Marys and Rhett and Jennifer Hawkins of Strathroy. Great- grandchildren Courtney and Joshua Dowling. Marjorie was well known at the local nursing homes and hospitals for pro- viding entertainment to hun- dreds of people with The Kountry Korners, The Granton Rhythmaires and other bands. Visitation was held at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. South, St. Marys where the Funeral Service was held on June 5, 2004. Dearly loved father of Mark (Pamela) of Whitewood SK and Geoff of Exeter, On. Special grandpa to Brooke, Stacey, Matthew, Emily and Jayden. Albert is also survived by six brothers and five sisters all living in the Western Provinces, and sisters-in-law Thelma Thiel, Leona Reichert and a brother-in-law Trueman Fischer all of Zurich, On. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services were held in Wapella SK on Friday, May 28th at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Ian Nestegaard-Paul officiating. Interment followed at Wapella Cemetery.
