It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Helen in her 87th year at Carleton Gardens, Burnaby, B.C. on May 24, 2004. Helen was the only daughter of the late Jack and Kate Warner of London. Beloved wife of the late Ernest (Ernie) Bowling. Dear mother of Allan Bowling (Corinne) Osoyoos, B.C. Special grand- mother of Kelly, Kirsten, Kent and Riley all of British Columbia. Great-grandmother of Brandon, Nathan, Zackary and Emily all of British Columbia. Helen was born and spent her youth in London, Ont. She mar- ried Ernie and moved to St. Thomas where she lived and worked most of her adult life. She and Ernie retired to the Lake Huron area where she enjoyed retirement life especially at Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend. She will be remembered for her determination and inde- pendence throughout her life including her battle with demen- tia in her last years. A private service and interment (Elmdale Memorial Park) will be held in St. Thomas, Ont. at a later date.
