SOUTH HURON — Huron OPP has been busy

place in Huron Park and Exeter.
On May 17 at 7:15 a.m. sometime overnight a per-
son smashed the windshield, back and side window of
a green Pontiac Grand Am. A fire extinguisher stolen
from a local business was thrown through the win-
dows causing extensive damage to the car. The vehi-
cle had been parked in the driveway of a residence on
St. Lawrence Ave.
Later that morning at 10 a.m. an officer was called
to Murray's Service Centre on Canada Ave to discover
three vehicles left parked in the parking lot had been
attacked. A red 1992 Pontiac Sunbird had the passen-
ger window damaged while a burgundy four -door
Buick had the rear window and the two side windows
smashed. A white 1990 Honda Civic was kicked sever-
al times on the driver's side leaving many dents plus
the side mirror was snapped off. Then on May 18th
five more reports of damage occurred.
The fist call was received at 5:30 a.m. when an offi-
cer was called to a Thames Road location over dam-

paint and sprayed it over a black 1997 Chev Z71 pick-
up truck sometime through the night.
The second call that day came in at 6 a.m. when a
person leaving for work found his vehicle damaged.
Sometime through the night a two -door red Honda
Civic parked in the family driveway on Columbia
Drive had the passenger side window smashed and a
pellet or BB gun shot out the front window. Tracks left
the scene going across lawns coming out on Huron
Park Road.
Next at 8:15 a.m. another officer was called to a
building on Quebec Ave where someone had spray -
painted vulgar words and scenes on the wall using
orange industrial paint.
Then at 9 a.m. an officer was called to an industrial

located on Gidley Street reported school windows had
been shot at, breaking the outer panes of a double

was used to cause several windows to be damaged.

business on Canada Ave when company officials
found several buildings sprayed painted with orange
