Car wash to raise cash
forYouth Centre
EXETER — Getting your car washed at Canadian
Tire this Saturday will help raise money for the
Exeter Youth Centre.
The Exeter Youth Centre and Canadian Tire are
teaming up to participate in the fifth annual
Armor All National Car Wash by hosting a
fundraising community car wash Saturday from
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Car washes will be done for a
minimum $5 donation. All cars will be cleaned
using Armor All products such as car wash, tire
foam and protectant wipes. The money raised will
help raise funds to provide basic needs for youth
in South Huron.
The National Car Wash Day is an event featuring
local community and church groups, sports teams
and other non-profit organizations across Canada.
Last year the program helped more than 1,600
groups raise over $650,000 in Canada.
The Exeter Youth Centre is a program of Youth
Opportunities Unlimited and provides youth
access to employment and education -related
training and resources, emergency/crisis referrals
and resources, recreation and arts programs.
