ZURICH — The Round Dancers from Clinton and area
provided entertainment at the Zurich Diners meeting
May 5.
Exercisers had lots of room to strut their routine,
which is always different each week thanks to instructor
Betty Kirk.
Carl Finkbeiner was on hand to help set up and do
whatever he could to keep the group organized.
In the kitchen Mary Koricina with volunteers Maddie
Smith and Cecelia Farwell prepared a roast beef dinner
served by Marie Deichert, Doris Jantzi and Dianne
Wilds.
Thanks to Bill Smith meals were delivered, and those
needing a ride were picked up.
At the desk to greet diners were Gwen McKellar and
Glena Olcen.
Marg Hayter of Town and Country Support Services
welcomed all to our return to Bluewater Zurich
Community Centre.
The 50/50 was won by Pearl Heimlich.
A poem called `Mom's Love' was read and door prizes
were given to Marjorie Reichert, Theresa Stark, Marie
Gelinas and Lois McGill.
Progressive euchre was enjoyed by those who stayed
to participate and high score went to Marie Gelinas.
Second high was Marjorie Reichert. Lone hands was
Doris Hamilton.
To complete the day eight volunteers and two guests
travelled to Clinton to the Betty Cardno Memorial Centre
for a Mexican Fiesta complete with musical entertain-
ment.
The event was hosted by Town and Country Support
Services.
Residents at Queensway
were treated to a Mothers
Day performance by the Al
Kapella Singers Sunday.The
entertainment was part of
a a Mothers Day Tea for
family and friends of resi-
dents, which also featured
a buffet for the first time
for residents of the retire-
ment home. Director of
Programs Carol Gascho
said the event was put on
with the help of many
energetic student volun-
teers. On Fathers Day
there will be a bus trip to
the Varna Complex to
hear harpist Edward
Klassen. Members of the
