Rev. Pirie Mitchell will be the auc- tioneer. Come out and enjoy the friendship of the May meal at the Hensall Drop -In on May 20 at Hensall United Church. Lunch will be served at 12 noon. We welcome all individ- uals to this luncheon held on the third Thursday of each month. The cost is $5 per person. If required, transportation can be provided. To make reservations contact Marg Cole at 262-2304 or Faye Skinner at 235-0258 by noon on Mon., May 17. At Carmel Presbyterian Church the service began with the processional and call to worship. Tracy Whitson-Bahro was the HEN minister. Her message: What I want for you. Joyce Pepper was the organist with Robert Bell and Harry Smith receiving the offering. May 30 is the date of the anniversary service at Carmel Presbyterian Church. At Hensall United Church Pastor Fred Darke was the minister. Pastor Darke's message: We are family. T h e greeter was Ken Elder with Judy and Gary Kyle receiving the offering. Chuck Mallette was the organist and Judy Mallette read the Scripture and also lit the Christ candle. Les Hills thanked everyone for their support at his Covenanting Service. The service closed with com- missioning and benedic- tion and Choral Amen. On Thurs., May 13 the official board meeting of the church committees will begin at 7 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. the board will convene. The village of Hensall will be holding their 20th annual village wide yard and garage sale (always the last Saturday in May) on Sat., May 29.
