Keller Roofing wins award
EXETER — Exeter's Keller Roofing
and Sheet Metal was recently awarded
the 2004 Master Contractor Award from
the Firestone Building Products
Company.
The award recognizes Keller's quality
workmanship on roof installations dur-
ing 2003. It is the second time Keller
Roofing has achieved Master Contractor
status.
"The Master Contractor distinction is a
level of achievement reached by those
contractors who consistently demon-
strate superior craftsmanship and pro-
fessionalism," said Firestone Building
Products vice-president Bob Delaney.
"Firestone applauds the outstanding
work performed by Keller Roofing and
Sheet Metal Inc. and congratulates them
on their success."
Firestone -licensed contractors earn
the Master Contractor Award each year
based on total square footage and quali-
ty points accumulated for achieving
exceptional inspection ratings on
Firestone Red Shield warranted
RubberGard EPDM, UltraPly
Thermoplastic and asphalt -based roof-
ing system installations.
This year 269 commercial roofing con-
tractors throughout North American
achieved 2004 Master Contractor status.

Shoplifter
caught in
grocery store
SOUTH HURON — On April 25 at 3
p.m. OPP were contacted by security
at Hansen's Independent Grocer
Store located on Thames Road in
South Huron about a shoplifter. The
officer learned a security officer
spotted the woman putting items
into her purse and leaving without
paying for them. The officer recov-
ered approximately $35 of product.
A 45 -year-old Bluewater woman
has been charged with theft under
$5,000 and will attend court in
Exeter June 24.
Vehicle damaged
HENSALL — On April 21 at approxi-
mately 7:45 a.m. OPP were called to W.G.
Thompsons and Sons located on Nelson
Street in Hensall over vehicle damage.
The officer discovered two vehicles, a
1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a
1997 International Stake truck, had been
left parked on the property. Sometime
overnight someone threw something
through one window on each of the vehi-
cles.
Several cases of vandalism have been
reported in the Hensall area over the past
few weeks. Huron OPP needs the assis-
tance of the public to stop this problem.
Please speak up and notify the OPP
immediately if groups or individuals are
seen acting suspiciously. If you have
information on this case call the Exeter
OPP office or contact Crime Stoppers at
1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
