Attempted
theft
LUCAN BIDDULPH —
Middlesex OPP received a
mischief report April 28.
An attempt was made to
steal a portable basketball
stand on Willow Avenue
in Lucan. An orange or
red pickup truck with a
topper and loud muffler
was seen at the scene.
Theft of fire
extinguishers
SOUTH HURON — On
April 26 a representative
of Bluewater Recycling
Association located on
Canada Avenue in South
Huron reported a theft.
The person told police
that sometime over the
last two months someone
has been entering the
vehicle compound of the
company and entering the
unlocked trucks. Stolen
from the vehicles are 16
red fire extinguishers of
2.5 pound, five pound and
10 pound size cylinders
along with four CBs. The
theft is estimated at
$1,200. Huron OPP is ask-
ing for assistance in solv-
ing this matter and finding
the stolen property. Call
the Huron OPP office in
Exeter or contact Crime
