VEGETABLES AND LEARNING TO SERVE THEM UP IN A
VARIETY OF WAYS IS BECOMING QUITE POPULAR. SINCE
WORKING AT EDDINGTON'S CASUAL FINE DINING I HAVE
LEARNED THAT EXPERIMENTING WITH FOOD IS FUN AND
VERY REWARDING! CHANGING SEASONINGS OR SAUCES
CAN CREATE A WHOLE NEW FOOD EXPERIENCE. AT
HOME I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ONE TO FIND RECIPES AND
MAKE VEGGIES SPECIAL. THE FOLLOWING RECIPE CAME
FROM MY MOTHER AND IS WONDERFUL WITH A MEAT
AND POTATO TYPE MEAL. IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS I
WILL BE RUNNING A VARIETY OF VEGETABLE DISHES SO
WATCH FOR TURNIP TREATS AND CANDIED YAMS.

Plan H10-3-203 Contemporary Chalet This elegant home plan is ideal for a recreational property with a view. The master bedroom is
located on the main floor, an attractive feature for retirees who don't want to have to climb a lot of stairs. Vertical wood siding, stone accents
and a wrap-around sundeck give the exterior the traditional look of a mountain chalet. The impressive double -height windows in the great
room add contemporary flair. The main entry is at the side of the house. From here, a foyer leads directly into a spacious great room with a
dramatic vaulted ceiling and huge stone fireplace. A staircase beside the foyer provides access to the second level as well as to the
unfinished basement. The great room and dining area span the entire front of the home. Sliding glass doors from the dining room open to a
wide sundeck, which can be used to expand the family living area in summer. A wide counter with a raised breakfast bar divides the kitchen
from the dining room, providing a handy surface for serving buffet -style meals and a welcoming place for guests to chat with the cook while
dinner is being prepared. The kitchen's efficient layout includes a window over the double sinks, the convenient placement of fridge and
range on the same wall, and a deep pantry cupboard for storage. A short hall behind the kitchen leads to a powder room and a large linen
closet. Behind this, the master bedroom suite features a four -piece bathroom and a
generous -size walk-in closet. Two more bedrooms are located on the top floor, along with
a three-piece bathroom. Both secondary bedrooms have a sloped ceiling, creating the
charming feel of a cosy attic room. This house is 38 feet wide by 48 feet, 4 inches deep
and has a total of 2,018 square feet of finished space plus an unfinished basement. Plans
for design H10-3-203 are available for $576 (set of 5), $661(set of 8) and $715 for a super
set of 10. B.C. residents add 7.5% Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $20.00 for Priority charge
within B.C. or $40.00 outside of B.C. Please add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where
applicable) to both the plan price and Priority charges. The new 36th Edition of the Home
Plan Catalogue containing over 300 plans is available for $13.50 (includes taxes, postage
