The Times Advocate, 2004-03-17, Page 19Wednesday,March 17, 2004 Exeter Times—Advocate 19 Community Living Announcements 105 Cards of Thanks 106 In Memoriam SEATON - The family of the late Bob Seaton would like to say thank you to everyone for the outpouring of condolence which we received. All the cards, flowers, food and kind words were overwhelming and much appreciated. To every- one who made a donation to Jesse's Journey, which held a special place in Bob's heart, a big thank you. To all of our relatives, friends and neigh- bours who stood by us through the tough times of the last three years, thank you. You will never know how this touched us and will forever be fondly remembered. To the large number of people who came to Bob's Memorial Service, it was a fitting tribute to a kind and generous person who had obvi- ously touched so many lives. To Matt and Janet Clarke, and all the staff at Exeter Chrysler, a huge thank you for all your compassion and friendship. You all went above and beyond. You have truly made us feel like fami- ly. To everyone who took time from their busy lives to come and visit at the hospi- tal, thank you. You made the stay much happier and more like a home atmosphere. To all the staff at South Huron Hospital, thank you. To the staff at London Regional Cancer Centre, thank you for making Bob's time with me a lot longer, happier and less frightening. To Jo, a hug and special thank you. To James, thank you for all of your sup- port and for just being you. And last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to Katie and Jim. Without your love and support, I would never have made it through. Bob and I certainly did a great job of raising you. We are so proud. (11*) VOLLAND - Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to friends, relatives and neighbours for their many acts of kindness through cards, masses, flow- ers, food, donations and sup- port during the loss of a wife, our mother, our grandmother and a great-grandmother. A special thank you to an amaz- ing lady who helped us out tremendously, Alice Carter, an Angel on earth. Without you we couldn't have helped fulfill Mom's final wishes, we will be forever grateful. To Dr. Hurley, Dr. Wallace and Maggie and to Annie Morris for their care and home visits, we are truly blessed to have these kinds of medical professionals in our community. To Dr. Nelham who cared for mom at the Emergency department of the Exeter Hospital numerous times, as well as Sherri Leis another Angel on Earth who's career is so much more than a job, and who I am proud to know. Without these two wonderful people Mom's battle would have been so much more difficult. To Joyce McBeath at the McBeath Funeral Home, thanks for your professional- ism during this difficult time, you made everything so spe- cial. To Father Thomas Cherusseril at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church for a lovely service, and to the CWL ladies who provided a beautiful luncheon following the service. Our list of Thank You's is endless as we go through a very difficult time in our life, but with the help of so many people we will get through it and be bet- ter people for it. We know Mom is at peace now, no more suffering or pain, and she is our Guardian Angel who will watch over us and keep us safe. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
