FUNdraising
Friday for
Jesse's
Journey
LONDON — Jesse's
Journey—which first
captured the hearts of
Canadians in 1995, is
heading back to the
road April 2 as a part
of FUNdraising Friday.
Jesse's Journey will
be returning to the
road with a one -day
mini journey called the
Compass Walk which
will be a key part of'
FUNdraising Friday.
For the past five
years FUNdraising
Friday has been a cor-
nerstone event on the
first Friday in April
Thousands of stu-
dents in schools across
Southwestern Ontario
along with their par-

industries will be tak-
ing part in fun projects
in support of Jesse's
Journey.
Four teams partici-

Walk will fan out early
in the morning April 2
pushing a Duchenne
youngster in his wheel-
chair.
The north team will
start their walk back
into the heart of
London from
Clandeboye, just north
of Lucan. The west
team will begin in
Strathroy, the east
team in Ingersoll and
the south team
between St. Thomas
and Port Stanley.
The teams will each
walk 33 -kilometres —
duplicating the daily
distance covered by
John Davidson during
his cross -Canada walk.
The public is invited
to join in the festivities
at Covent Garden
Market across from the
John Labatt Centre
between 4 and 7 p.m.

son team first set out
on the road to cross
