Public speaking and euchre in Zurich

the exercise group, 10 a.m. to 11
a.m.
Glena Olcen played the piano and
then showed slides of her recent
trip to Paris. Marg Hayter wel-
comed all to the dining
program.The 50/50 was won by
Mark Whitney. All joined in singing
Happy Birthday to Lee Regier.
Gwen McKellar read an article
found on the USCO web page enti-
tled, 'All women who drive should
read this!' A direct call to a police
dispatcher can be made by *677 or
*OPP for assistance. Cards were
enjoyed to complete the day. Next
week there will be public speaking
by school children from Zurich fol-
lowed by progressive euchre.
Sorority groups tour medical centre

On Feb. 17, Beta Alpha
Master Chapter of Beta
Sigma Phi, along with
their sister chapters Beta
Theta and Mu Epsilon,
toured the new South
Huron Medical Centre.
Verla Russell introduced
Maureen Cole, clinical site
leader for the centre, who
demonstrated the exami-
nation rooms, lab and
office facilities. Cole was
Students from Exeter Public, Stephen Central, Precious Blood, St. Boniface and Usborne took part in a St. John
Ambulance babysitting course Feb. 28 at Stephen. The students received instruction on aspects of babysitting

reported on the plans for
Founder's Day which will
be held at Ironwood Golf
Club on Apr. 27. The Ways
and Means Committee
held a draw and the lucky
winners were Ada Dinney,
Sharon McNeilly and Pat
Fletcher. Russell and
Connon served a lovely
lunch.
