President Anne Cottel presided for the business part of the meeting. Members made final plans to host a birthday party at the Blue Water Rest Home in Zurich on March 9. Cottel volun- teered to represent the WI on the South Huron Hall Board Committee for Community Needs. The March 17 meeting will be held at the Ausable Court apart- ments in Grand Bend with Ada Dietrich host- ing. Potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. Family and friends of members are invited. A donation of $25 for a student from SHDHS to attend `Forum For Young Canadians' in Ottawa was approved. The roll call, 'Who was your first heart throb' Rebekahs meeting Mar. 10 in St. Marys EXETER - The District meeting will be on March 10 in St. Marys at 2 p.m. DDP Isa Rabbets will make her official visit March 17 to the lodge. Plans are underway for entertaining the Oddfellows and spouses on April 16. The PNG's will be having a dessert euchre again on May. 12. We will open in long form next meeting. THE RECIPE TODAY COMES FROM MY HIGHSCHOOL HOME ECONOMICS CLASS WHERE I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF THE TEACHER AND THE FOOD! PLEASE TRY THE FOLLOWING RECIPE AND ENJOY! Zippy Salisbury Steak 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef 2Tbsp of olive oil 1/2 cup sliced onions 2/3 cup water 1/4 cup brown sugar 2Tbsp worchestershire sauce 1 Tbsp prepared mustard 1 tsp salt Shape beef into oval steaks. Brown in oil and cook on low heat till thoroughly cooked, keeping them covered helps them to stay moist. Remove patties and add onions to pan drippings. Saute till soft. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring lots. Add patties back into pan and simmer for 5-10 minutes with cover in place.
