If you are having sleeping problems, keep a
sleep diary detailing the hours you sleep, when
you wake, what you eat or drink during the day,
your medications, any napping you do during
the day and any pertinent things going on in your life. This Type of
history will help your doctor focus on the possible causes and
eventual help for the problem.

taking your blood pressure: Before the test, sit 5 minutes with back
supported and feet on ground; no coffee or cigarettes 30 minutes
before; go to the bathroom before measuring since a full bladder
has an effect on the reading.
Two of the best times to measure your blood pressure are in the
morning between awakening and breakfast and in the evening
between dinner and bedtime. It's also a good idea to keep a record
of the pressures and bring them to your doctor visits.
