When it comes to patient satisfaction, the eight hospitals received the equivalent to A+ according to the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) report. Huron and Perth hospi- tals achieved results in the top 10 per cent in Ontario for emergency patient care satisfaction, while in acute care patient satisfaction, results were surpassed by only four other hospi- tals/health care systems in the province. "We applaud the tremendous work of the staff, physicians and vol- unteers for continuing to provide high quality care throughout Huron and Perth," Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance CEO Andrew Williams said. The recent report rep- resents one of the largest and most comprehensive studies on hospital -to - hospital comparison and performance undertaken in Canada. The report is a joint initiative of the OHA and the Ministry of Health and Long -Term Care and provides an ongoing assessment comparing nearly 100 hospitals/health care sys- tems in Ontario.
