Miscellaneous draws were won by Curtis Gingerich, Marjorie Reichert, Doris Hamilton, Pat Olcen, and Pearl Heimerich. Next week will be the penny sale. Last week The weather co-oper- ated and diners and exercisers were glad to be out and about on Feb. 4. The 50/50 winner was Doris Hamilton. Following dinner, pro- gressive euchre was played with Cecelia Farwell receiving high score; second high, Gwen McKellar; most lone hands, Marjorie Reichert. Exeter UC afternoon unit meeting By Ruth Insley EXETER - The February meeting was held in the church parlour on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 12; 20 members and one visitor were pre- sent. Leader Marion Dougall conducted business reports of recent Presbyterial Annual Meeting were given by Alma Langford and Doris Denham. Pat Down presented rec- ommendations and coming events. Alma Langford and her group con- ducted the worship service. The theme was The Power of Names: "A Good Name is more to be desired than riches." Barbara Harrison read Scripture, a commentary by Chris Phillips, readings by Ruth Insley and Laura Sillery. Hymns were sung. Valentines were exchanged. Helen Roberts and her group served lunch.
