Semifinal overtime loss for
Bantams at Silverstick final
The South Huron Bantam 'A' team which came within an overtime loss from advancing to the final of the International Silverstick held at

Saturday in Port
Huron, Mich. with a 2 -
1 overtime loss in the
semi-finals to Niagara
Fall Eagles, USA.
Niagara Falls lost to
Ottawa 3-2 in double
overtime on Sunday.
The team advanced to
the final rounds with
wins of 7-4 over Paris,
Ontario, 6-3 versus
Seaforth and 7-1 over
Nashville, Tenn.
Through the regional
and International
Silverstick's, South
Huron out scored their
opponents 55 - 17.
Strong goaltending by
Stephen Osgood with a
1.88 goals against and
strong defensive pair-
ings of Tim Bilcke,
David Geoffrey and
Mackenzie Christie,
Gavin Harburn kept the
opponents in check.
