Motorists are asked to be
careful at intersections
and area schools
Huron County has experienced a large amount of
snow in a short period of time, which has made driving
difficult and closed many roads for a period of time in
the area. The snow has built up at intersections and
the high banks are making visibility difficult when
pulling away or into the intersection.
OPP officers are asking motorists to take extra pre-
cautions at the intersections before pulling out.
Also, sidewalks have been plowed for citizens and the
high banks could cause a pedestrian to be struck when
they enter the intersection.
Parents are asked to speak with their children about
this difficult situation and be careful before stepping
onto the street.
The high banks also draw children to walk along
their tops, which could end up with a child sliding
down onto the roadway when they miss their footing.
When near the school loading zones parents waiting
to pick up their child should be alert for the possibility
of a child sliding down the bank into the side of the car
or under the vehicle.
Children are making tunnels in the mounds of snow
and this could be dangerous if the tunnel collapses with
the child inside.

PLAN H 2-3-707 Mediterranean Flair Stucco cladding, a tile roof, double -height columns and decorative windows give the exterior of
this home a touch of Mediterranean style. Inside, the basement -entry floor plan offers plenty of options for an active, growing family. A
wide covered entry leads to a spacious foyer with a den to one side and the staircase to the second level directly ahead. Behind the den is
the laundry room and behind that is a large unfinished basement. This valuable space could be used in many ways: as a recreation room,
an in-law suite, or for storage and hobbies. The second level is bright and spacious, boasting nine -foot ceilings throughout and the
potential for wonderful views. The great room has a built-in entertainment unit and a gas fireplace on one wall. An angled railing
overlooks the foyer below. Sliding glass doors access the covered sundeck at the front of the house. The kitchen has a large square work
island and eating bar, a double -door pantry, a phone desk and a greenhouse window that looks out to the rear deck. This room is bound
to be the center of family life. In summer, gatherings can spill out on to the sundeck. In winter, there is plenty of room around the fireplace
in the great room to curl up and read a good book. A hall from the great room leads to the bedroom wing. The master bedroom features a
make-up area, separated from the four -piece en suite by a sliding pocket door. A large walk-in closet with built-in shoe storage completes
this dressing area. Two additional bedrooms overlook the back yard. Both have boxed
out windows with wide sills that are great for displaying children's trophies and
keepsakes. A second bathroom, with a tub placed beside a window wall, is located
between these bedrooms. This house is 47 feet wide and 47 feet deep with a total
1,496 square feet of finished living space. Plans for design H2-3-707 are available for
$426 (set of 5), $492 (set of 8) and $534 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7.5%
Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $15.00 for Priority charges within B.C. or $30.00 outside of
B.C. Please add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both the plan price and
