PLAN H1-3-539 BY SUSAN BALCOM Classic Country Style Exceptional detailing, large spaces and dramatic features characterize this
elegant country -style design. A column entry adds a welcoming touch to the wide, covered entry. Inside, the large foyer enjoys a view
right through the living room to the outdoor spaces at the rear of the house. The formal dining room is placed immediately off the foyer
and is easily reached from the kitchen. An attractive coffered ceiling adds a touch of drama and a useful buffet area optimizes the space
in this elegant room. On the opposite side of the foyer, the study would make an excellent home office or computer room. A decorative
archway and half -wall present an inviting entrance to the central living room. Large windows at the rear of the room are divided by a
fireplace, creating a striking feature wall. A separate family room with a see-through fireplace that can also be seen from
the kitchen is ideal for family activities. The kitchen offers a pantry and plenty of counter space. A large work island encompasses an
eating bar, where family members will be able to enjoy coffee or snacks. An irregular shape adds an attractive element to the breakfast
nook, which is set into a bay. A separate side entrance opens to a huge laundry area, a two-piece powder room and accesses the garage.
Double doors lead into the secluded master suite with space for a sitting area. A door opens on to a private sun deck. The en suite
bathroom boasts a double vanity and a raised soaker tub set into a corner below right-angle windows. There is also an angled double
shower and a walk in closet. Bedrooms two and three share a five -piece bathroom with its own soaker tub. A large linen closet is located
alongside. The exterior of this home is finished with stone details which harmonize well with the board and batten siding and decorative
columns. A triple garage offers storage space for a boat or recreational vehicle as well as a large work area for home-based projects. The
house is 108 feet 1 1/2inches wide and 69 feet, 6 inches deep. It has 2,833 square feet of living space and an unfinished basement.
Plans for design H1-3-539 are available for $640 (set of 5), $736 (set of 8) and $797 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7.5% Prov.
Sales Tax. Also add $15.00 Priority Post charge within B.C. or $30.00 outside of B.C. Please add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where
applicable) to both the plan price and Priority charges. The 35th Edition of the Home Plan Catalogue containing over 300 plans is available
for $13.50 (includes taxes, postage and handling). Make all cheques and money orders payable to "Home Plan of the Week" and mail to:
