106 In Memoriam
DEN OTTER - In loving memo-
ry of our daughter and sister,
Janette, who was taken home
four years ago January 8.
Four years ago, you left us
To be in a better place.
It doesn't take the pain away
To remember your lovely face.
But knowing that you are happy,
Safe where there are no tears,
Is some comfort to us all,
Who miss you so much here.
Until we are together again, you
are in our thoughts and hearts
every day. Mommy, Daddy,
Josh, Jake, Jared and Joel. (1*)
GRENIER - In loving remem-
brance of Alphonse who passed
away 10 years ago January 9,
1994.
"Loving you always, forgetting
you never"
No words can express how we
felt that day
When you so suddenly were
called away.
We love you, we miss you, we
will always care.
Your wife Betty and daughters
Rose & Richard, Carole &
Larry, Cathy & John, Joe &
Joanne and Families. (1*)
HERBERT - In loving memory
of a dear friend, Michael
Andrew Herbert, who passed
away 10 years ago, January 9,
1994.
Pictures of you
They're still on my mind
You had the smile
That could light up the world.
Forever remembered and always
missed, Love Brad and Tracy
Heron (1*)
MCCLINCHEY - In memory of
a dear brother Robert John
Franklin who passed away two
years ago today, January 7,
2002.
God came and took you away
Death can't calm my love for
you.
Though we are apart
Sweet memories will always be
Engraved in my heart.
I share your loss and sorrow
The blessings of each tomorrow,
Memories do hurt it is true
I'm so glad I hold these memo-
ries.
So, for now, I'll wipe away the
tears
For I know in my heart you are
here.
Remembered by sister Elaine
(McClinchey) Bissonette and
husband Claude (1*)
MORLEY - In loving memory
of a dear Mom and grandmother,
Florence, who passed away
January 3, 1994.
In all the world we shall not find
A heart so wonderfully kind,
So soft a voice, so sweet a smile,
An inspiration so worthwhile,
A sympathy so sure, so deep,
A love so beautiful to keep.
Always in our thoughts, Elaine,
Brian, Michael and Marc. (1*)
SMITH - In loving memory of
Leonard Smith (January 11,
1999) and Doreen Smith
(January 10, 2000).
It's been four and five years now
since you left us,
Though it seems just yesterday,
We never thought you'd leave
us,
We had so much left to say.
The world kept on revolving,
And a few followed you home,
We carry on and do our best,
Your family, it has grown.
You did your best in loving us,
You taught us right from wrong,
In Heaven we'll see you again,
Until then we'll be strong.
Dearly loved and forever missed
by your Children and their fami-
lies. (1*)
VAN BERGEN - In loving
memory of Harry who passed
away January 10, 2001.
In memory's keeping,
treasured ever,
Are the happy hours we spent
together.
Always remembered by friends

Abduction
SOUTH HURON —
Huron OPP received a call
from a citizen over a child
abduction in Huron Park
Jan. 1 at approximately
9:30 p.m..
Officers attended a loca-
tion on Empress Avenue to
learn a 21 -year-old female
had just had two children
taken away from her.
The officer learned the
alleged victim had been at
her residence in Exeter
feeding her six -month-old
child when her two-year-
old child, who had been
playing with neighbour
children, fell down some
steps. She called for assis-
tance from her 24 -year-
old estranged husband
who attended the resi-
dence. Police were told he
was supposed to take her
and the children to the
local hospital but instead
drove away from Exeter to
his mother's house in
Huron Park.
The alleged victim
jumped out of the car
when the accused went
inside and started carry-
ing her children away
