105 Cards of Thanks
CAMPBELL - We would like
to thank all the wonderful peo-
ple who helped and showed us
how much they cared during
Doc's stroke and recovery, for
the excellent care he received
in Windsor to the wonderfully
familiar nurses and staff at
South Huron Hospital. The
phone calls, cards, gifts and
visits helped encourage him to
get back on his feet as quickly
as possible. So many people
helped in so many ways but we
would especially like to thank
Cec for all the rides to physio-
therapy over the busy holiday
season. We are very blessed
with our wonderful family,
friends and neighbours. Doc &
Kathy (1*)
GLAVIN - Thank you to my
family, friends and neighbours
for the surprise 50th birthday
party. The cards, gifts and
good times are greatly appreci-
ated. Jack (1)
PICKERING - I want to
express my sincere thanks and
appreciation to all our friends
from Shipka for your floral
tribute and the donation to
Heart and Stroke in memory of
a dear husband, father and
grandpa. It is wonderful to
have such caring friends.
Evelyn (1*)
PICKERING - The family of
Ross Pickering would like to
extend their sincere thanks to
all emergency workers at the
scene of the tragic car accident
on Dec. 18, 2003. Special
thanks goes out to Kyle and
Jerry McCann who were there
to call for help immediately
after. Thanks to South Huron
Hospital Staff and the trauma
unit at old Victoria Hospital in
London. Hoffman's Funeral
Home in Dashwood dealt with
the family and friends of Ross
in the most professional and
caring manner. We are forever
grateful. To all those who
brought food to the home, God
bless you. It was greatly appre-
ciated at such a difficult and busy
time. All the flowers and cards
sent to the family home and to
the Funeral Home were beauti-
ful. Thanks to all those who
made donations in memory of
Ross. He would be honoured
and blessed to know how many
people cared for him and his
family. His flower petals have
bloomed and fallen, but his beau-
ty will always be in our hearts.
Remember, please always wear
your seatbelts. Evelyn, Stan,
Susan, Mike & JoAnne, Nancy
& Randy, Jane & Dale (1*)
PICKERING - This holiday sea-
son was a challenge with the loss
of our dear father and grandpa
along with the loss of one of our
dearest friends Bev and our Aunt
Hazel. We are blessed with the
best friends, neighbours and fam-
ily and we would like to thank
everyone for food, flowers,
cards, phone calls and especially
the hugs, we can never have too
many hugs. Bev taught me this
years ago. Once again, thank
you for your love and kindness.
Mike, JoAnne & family (1*)
