In Magistrate's Court
G•odemich — Pleading guilty to
charge of wilful damage to property
at the British Exchange Hotel, Wil,
liam Farr, Goderich, was granted sus•
pended sentence for six months
Crown Attorney H. Glenn Hays tol
the court the accused took possession
of a room without ncrmission, and
went to bed with his boots on, Dec-
ember 6th, resulting in damage to the
bedding. He was .ordered to make re
stitution of $3 and to keep away
from the hotel.
Fine Imposed for Liquor Sales
A fine of $50 and costs or 30 days
was imposed on George Baechler,
Goderich, ton Dec. 7, bjy Magistrate
D. E. Holmes, K.C., after he pleaded
guilty to a charge of keeping Iiquor
for sale, contrary to the Canada Te
penance Act. Another charge o
bringing. liquor into Huron County
was withdrawn.
