familiar woodchuck has a cousin called the HOARY MARMOT,
which certainly holds a marathon sleeping record. In the
northern part of his range, this creature sleeps nine

Going to Korea
The Korean war was brought a
little closer to pupil,; of Bayfield
Public School when they learned
that a former pupil, Eddie Apfellbeck
had enlisted NNith the Princess Pats in
the Korean ,Brigade. Eddie is the se-
cond son of Mr and Mrs. J. Apfel-
beck,West Lorne, who concructed a
bakery here from 1938 to 1947.
