Mr and Mrs Alphonse Masse nave
their new home recently purchased
from the Jeffrey Estate almost com-
plete after installing Hydro and
other interior repairing. We wish
them the ;best of luck.
Seeding in this neighbourhood is
well advanced and with a few more
dxiy; days most of the grain seeding
will be done, and as the season h
nearly three weeks late, there is no
ground as yet for -complaint. ` AlI
will fare well when the weaither a-
gain warms up.

mer's parents, over the week -end.
Mrs. Jane Rau, who has purchas-
ed the house formerly owned by Nlr.
and Mrs. Masse has now moved and
we wish tier much happiness in her
new home. Welcome to Drysdale;
Mrs. Rau. Her daughter from De-
troit is now helping her to redecor-
ate.
Mr and Mrs Louis Montague and
family were Sunday visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. Alex Aubin at Brucefield.
Mr. Melvin Overholt who has been
very ill for some time, we are sorry
has again taken a ill spell. He is
still at the Goderich Hospital.
Mrs. Tony Masse of Goderich, vis-
ited her parents, Mr and Mrs, ;,os.

John Durand who has been in Zur-
ich for the winter ;months has return-
ed to our burg for .some time.
Miss Bernedette Laporte of Bre-
eia Hall, London, spent the week nd
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noel

Mr. Arthur 'Gelinas of Alvinston,
spent Sunday with his sisters here.
Mr and Mrs Leon Jeffrey of. Blake
called on their cousins the Misses
Gelinas one day last week.
Lose Valued Citizen
Mrs'. Exelia M. Masse for 31 year:
a resident of Drysdale, has moved her
personal effects to Windsor last week
end, where she intends to ma .e her
home anno,ng her children. Mrs.
Masse who was a friend to all who
knew her will surely be missed in our
midst. She was a hard and willing
'worker in church activities and had
a helping hand for any one who
needed help. The best wishes of all
goes with Mrs. Masse, for the best of
herself and much happiness rn ner
new home. She will be greatly mis-
sed in ;this vicinity. Her son Milton
and Rege Bedard accompaied their
mother.

Mr. Elzar Mousseau of Kippen rias
purchased from Mr. Chas. Alexander
the vacant lot which faces the high-
way, alongside Norman Long's pro-
perty.
Mr. Robert Cooper who has been
visiting friends in Florida. for two
months, has returned to his home in
Kippen.
.Mr and Mrs Lee McConnell were
recent visitors in Toronto. Mrs. Mc-
Connell, who had been visiting het
daughter, Mrs. Argo and family, re-
turned with ;them.
Miss E. Mossop, Varna was a re-
cent visitor with Miss F. Logan, of
Hensall, prior to her leaving for
Nashville, Tenn., where she's. visit-
ing with her sister, Mrs. L. Keys,
rid family.
Mr. George Swan, -after spending
the winter at the home of his son-in-
law and daughter, Mr and Mrs. Ervin
Schilbe of Zurich, has returned to
his home in Brucefield.
Mrs. J. Woods and son, who have
spent the winter months with the
former's parents, Mr and Mrs Har-
vey Damm, Kippen, have left for
their home in Manitoba
Mr and Mrs. Allan Carnell and
daughter of London; Mr and Mrs.
Wm. Horney of Exeter, and Mr. Ed-
ward Gackstetter of Zurich, were re-
cent visitors with Mr. and Mrs. A.
Gackstetter near Kippen.
A number of children of the com-
munity competed in the Mussc-res-
tival in Goderich recently.
Goshen W.M.S. Meet
The Goshen W.M.S. held the Eas-
ter meeting in the church. Mrs. John
Armstrong was in charge of the me-
eting. The theme `Christ is Risen."
The opening hymn, "The Day of
Resurrection", after which Scriptures
were read by Mrs. J. i4MKintey and
Mrs. Robinson. The hymn, "The
Head that -once was crowned with
thorns," was sung. The minutes were
read and the roll called. It was de-
cided to hold the meetings in the
church for the summer months unless
someone wanted it in their home.The
meeting foll.,)•wed the one in the Miss-
ionary Monthly with several members
taking Scriptures. The offering was
received and the hymn "Now may
He who from the Dead," was sung.
The president closed the meeting with
the Benediction: Hebrews 18i 21.
