November 12th, St. Peter's Parish, St. Joseph, was the scene of a lovely bridal cerem"ony, when Gladys Ann Overholt, daughter of Ma: and Mrs. iMelvin Overhort of the Blue Water Highway, became the bride of Claire Thomas Bedard, of Zurich. The bride was grven in marriage by her father. She entered the church to the strains of Lohen- grin's Bridal Chorus, played by Mrs John, Denomme. • The bride wore a brocaded dress, with a sweetheart neckline and long pointer sleeves. Her veil .was caught in a c. ju'i/ of pearls,- extendipg into a slight train. She carried a bouquet of Better Time Roses and mums. 1V$ns Joan Bedard, sister of the grown, 'was maid of honour, wearing a pink nylon gown, with matching headress. She carried a bouquet oi' mums and roses. Miss Jean Overholt, cousin of the beide, was bridesmaid, wearing green taffeta, with snatching headdress, also carrying a bouquet of mums and ewes. Little Evelyn Den- ormne, niece of the bride, was 12ower girl in long floor length gown of white crepe, trimmed` in pink, carry- ing a nosegay of mums and roses. Master Brian Geoffrey, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer, wearing gravy blue trousers, white shirt and black bow tie, carrying a white satin pillow. Dennis Overholt, Brother of the bride, was best than, Donald Bed_ ,Ird, brother of the groom, was see, and best man. Father W. Bourdeau Performed the wedding ceremonies, followed by a- nuptial Mass, sung by Tohn Denomme. . 'Ws. Overholt chose navy blue •lre;s, with wine accessories, while vtrs. Bedard chose a grey dress with black accessories, both mothers, wear- :,;,, cor-age of carnations, The •vroom is a son of Mrs. Dennis Ba- l.:eel cr. ', and the late Mr. Bedard.
