the Bank of Montreal was accidently
tripped at 11;30 p.m. Here's what
happened. Bank !officials unwittingly

The living room. of Mr and Mrs.
N. E. Cook, Hensall, was the setting
for the wedding, Wed. August 10th,
3 p.m., when their older daughter,
Norma Elizabeth 'Joyce, was united
in marriage to Mervyn Alexander,
:.on of Mr and Mrs K. C. Hopkinson•
of Ancaster. Rev R. A. Brook offici-
ated. The bride, • given in marriage
by her father, wore an ice' blue floor
length lace dress with a tiered skirt.
She 'carried a boquet of pink roses
and wore a matching headdress. The
bridesmaid, her sister, Eleanor Cook
wore a turquoise net , dress over taf-
feta. She carried a bouquet of yellow
noses and wore a matching head-
dress of roses and net. Mr Wm.
Mueller' of Ancaster was groomsman
The wedding ceremony was held in
front of the fireplace which was
banked with white gladiolis. During
the signing of to register i r. Eunic
Oestreicher of London, sang "At
Dawning" accompanied by Miss
Greta Lammie. The reception was
held at home at which the members
of the United Church .W.M.S. ably,
assisted.
The bride's mother wore a' heav-
enly blue tissue faille dress, with
navy accessories .The groom's mot-
her wore a navy +blue sheer ensemble
with white accessories. For travelling
the bride wore a beige dress with
tan accessories. On their return the
couple will reside in Kingston. The
bride is a graduate in medicine from.
U.W.O., and the groom willilbe inter-
ning at Kingston General Hospital.

Si-anlev, nn account of the recent action ..of.. their
Municipal Council refusing to pay the operating
costs of the Brigade when answering a call for help.
The Hensall Municipal Council do not think that it
should be a charge on the „ratepayers of Hensall
only.
