HAD SPLENDID MEETING - Last Friday evening the Progress- ive Conservative meeting in the Zur= ich town hall was very interesting, as a large crowd •gathered to hear the live issues of the day discussed. The president of the local organization, Mr. Bell, of Exeter, acted as chair- man, and called on Mr. Tom. Pryde, M.L.A. who pleaded with the people to stick to our democratic 'way of politic i, and at intervals make .change in selecting governments, by electing other governments to the ones that were in power, and we .can keep hold of our democratic way of life: .,If we always elect the 'same party gov- ernment there would never ae any changes, and it would be contrary to our democratic way of life. The candidate J. Elgin McKinley spoke briefity, followed by Garfield Case, of Owen Sound, who had a very in- teresting address on the issues of the day, and ended up with consid- erable humor. Mr. Case is a good story teller, and seems to have a good supply that keep his hearers wide awake. 8 • 0 • s' • We always try to supply our with the most Suitable Fuel for their heating equipment..
