To Speak in Zurich
Rev. K. Raudsepp, an Estonian
Pastor, will speak at St. Peter's
Lutheran Church on Sunday May
1st, at 7.30 p.m. Rev. Raudsepp is
ministering to the large number of
his countrymen who escaped from
their 'homeland and who have found
refuge in Canada. The speaker will
have an interesting story to tell. He
has alremarkarrble command of the
En;gliSh landguage for such a recent
arrival in our country.
:;Hydro Was Off
The Hydro power was off on Tues-
day morning until about 8.30 when
it ca, e back on. The reason? Dur-
ing: e early morning hours a severe
elec r',cal storm passed to the south
of and a few miles out, several
Hydra poles were blown over. We
oftei11 wonder why something isn't
being.,done when we need the power
badly but if we were at the scene
of the ;trouble, we would see these
workmen doing their best to get
things 'back into shape for service.
These .linesmen really are robust
Men; and are right on the job.

ike a real job. A new addition be-
tween the church and shed will be
erected to accomodate the new fur-
nace, which will soon arrive. Toilet
looms are also being installed. The
entirebasement is being renovated.
We must not forget to keep our
House of Worship in good attractive
condition, or our youth as well as
