led in town on Tuesday.

iness trip to Hamilton on Monday.
Messrs. Calvin and Robert Will-
iams motored to St. Thomas and
London, one day last week.
The Dispersal Auction Sale ,of Hol-
stein Cattle held by Mr. Druce ICo-
ehler last Friday was a big success,
as pod prices were realized, and
the offerings soon found ready buy-
ers.
Sorry to report that Mr. Louis
Kalbfleisch of town is not enjoying
his usual good health, although not
,confined to bed, yet we miss him a-
round the streets down town.
Returned From Halifax
Mr and Mrs. Lennis O'Brien and
sons and Mis Shirley Fairbairn emit-
ored to London last Friday to meet
the former's daughter-in-law, Mrs.
Jack O'Brien and son .Michael Lennis
who returned from 'Halifax and in-
tend to spend some time at the O'-
Brien home, while her husband is on
a sailing voyage to Bermuda, Pan-
ama and Jamica on the magnificent
ship.

A series of thefts of articles from
parked vehicles in the Brucefield and
Varna district during .recent weeks
ended in police court Seaforth, when
three Clinton district youths were
found guilty on a total of twelve
charges by Magis. D. E. Holmes, K.
C. Each of the trio was fined $2.5 and
costs on one charge, while on three

in Mitchell on Friday March 25th,
of John Elligsen, following a stroke
which he suffared earlier in the week,
