On Wolf Hunt
The local sportsmen are still on
the lookout for wolves, and one at.
ternoon last week chased up a few;
they think three, one being a big
fellow. But they are sly and cun-
ning, and will not let any one get
within shooting range. What they
think was the big fellow, was track-
ed down the big ditch for a few' miles
until the hunters got tired following
the tracks. Here he thinks he will
not be seen and thereby aviod the
hunter and " his gun. Probably if
they were chased around enough,
they would leave these parts and a-
bode in the less settled parts of the
country. -

"Oh, that is too complicated -•- too

As a matter of fact, any white or
light-colored surface can serve as a
reflector. to make shadows soft and
full of cletail...For instance, look at a
man reading a newspaper.The news-
paper catches light and reflects it
into his face it is a very good
shadow illuminator.
A white spring or summer dress
catches light and reflects it to the
snbjcct's face, and under her chin.
A broad white hat brim catches
light from the dress, and reflects
it to the subject's forehead.
A white building (see diagram)
can be used as a reflector to lighten
the shadow side of Ole person you
are picturing. A white p1(11k cloth,

light to soften shadows in the faces
of all the group around it.
