Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thiel and chil-
dren motored to Detroit over the
week -end to spend the holiday at the
home of her sister, Mr and Mrs.
Morley Witmer. We are pleased to
report that Mr. Witmer is progress-
ing favourably after his recent ill-
ness and able to be around again.
Moved In New Home
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Regier of the
south end of town have moved into
their new home which is nearly com-
pleted. A beautiful outward appear-
ance and we are told it is equally as
beautiful in the interior, trimmed
with choice. wood from the Regier
farm. We ° wish them every success
and happiness with health for years
to come.
Old Jack Frost really made his
appearance, 'Saturday, ChrIstmasi
Day when in the evening the mer-
cury dipped deep in the sub -zero
mark, and all day Sunday was very
cold, but things have greatly eased
up again, with to -day, ,Wednesday
the rain is falling and quite mild,
but we are promised cold and snow
by another day, and so the weather-
man goes on, with plenty of changes
at this time of year.

his 6811 year. The body rested at
;the Disney funeral ihome, Main St.,
Exeter from where the funeral sere-,
ice was held on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
with interment in Exeter cemetery.
