The following hunters have re-
turned from a splendid hunting -trip
from the northern parts of M•anitbul-
in Island where they were succegsful
in securing their quota of eigritjeer

FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mr's. John Etue of the'
Blue Water Highway, Stanley Town-
ship, had the honor of celebrating
their fiftieth wedding anniversry on
Saturday, when a very sumptuous
dinner was served at the home of
their son, Mr. and Mrs, Maurice Etue
of near Seaforth. Everything was
,lust lovely for this fine occasion with
all their children present, three dau-
ghters .and four sons, and -twelve
grandchildren. Suitable music was
furnished by two boys from the
Radio School, Clinton. This happy
couple of fifty years have resided
these years on their farm un trre B.
W. Highway, and have Seen many
changes come and go as the years
passed along, and they always main-
tained their joval andcheerful attit-
ude, and have many warm friends.
During the celebration Mr. and Mrs
Etue were presented with two fine
wrist watches by their cnrildr•en
which they will prize dearly. We
loin their many friends in wishing
them much health to enjoy many
more years of wedded life together.

was their first appearance on' the

as .chairman and master of ceremon-
ies and took his part well with a nice,

Hour on Monday evening, Novem-
ber 29. She' will sing Silesu's

two Scottish traditional airs —
"Th.e Laird O'Cockpen" and
' "pomirl' Thro' the Rye". Accom-
paniment will be provided by Paul
,Seherman and the concert or-
chestra. The program is heard
weekly over the CBC Trans-
