of London, were week -end visitors
at the home of the latter's sifter, Mr
and Mrs Ge Thiel, also attended
the funerrls of their relatives, Mrs.
Carl McClinchey and Mrs:. A. Levy.
Fractures Ankle
Mr. Eugene Martindale- had his
left ankle fractured at the Kalbflei-
sch Mills last week, with the aid of
a walking cast he is now able to. be
around nicely. His friends w. n him
a speedy recovery.
Mrs. Arthur Auleric•h of Detroit is
at present with her rn:ther, Mrs.
Louis Prang in Kitchener, where they
are at the bedside of their father and
hushand, Mr. Louis Prang, who was
badly injured in a auto -train acci-
dent. We are pleased to report that
Mr. Prang is progressing very fav-
ourably. His !naiiy friends wish
him a speedy recovery.
European Relief
Members and friends of the Evan-
gelical church who can donate any
sort of good used clothing for;; men,
women and children, for. rui'bpean
Relief, such as suits, overcoats, caps,
and all types lof shoes, .rubbers and
overshoes in :good repair, should
bring them to the church basement
immediately. Shipment to the cen-
tral packing depot in Kitchener,Ont.
is expected on or before this week-
end.

Is At Hospital
Mr. lLorley Witmer of Detroit,
and ;don of Mr. and Mrs. Isiah Wit-
mer of the Goshen line esuth, had a
pendix operation performed last
week in that city, and is progressing
very favourably and expects to leave
the hospital this week. His many
friends wish him a speedy recovery.

daughter Patsy of Bradford visited
at the h mcg of their parents, Mr and
Mrs. Ed. Stelek, • Dashwood and Mr.
and :!ars. Thos. Meyers of town.

the same evening in Cardno's Hall,
Seaforth, at 7 p.m. Special speaker
for the evening will be Ethel Chap-
man, home editor of the Farmers'
Magazine, Toronto. Ladies are espe-
cially invited to attend. Contact

for tickets. The evening will. be
rounded out with a concert and
dance for guests only.
The Farm Forum County Rally
held in Clinton was a big success. 7";
forum people, representing farm fo.'-
ums from all over the County were
present and spent an enjoyable and
profitable evening listening to spea-
kers, followed by .discussion, musical
numbers, films and lunch. The even-
ing was chaired by Harvey C. John-
ston, Reeve of Morris Twp., with R.
McMillan, ,of Seaforth, acting as
secretary. Our new Agricultural Re-
presentative led a sing -song, in a
way that inspired the audience.
