Gets Treat of Venison
The Herald's publisher wore a big
'smile the other day when Ylr. Ivan
Yungblut presented him with a nice
venison roast and some steak from
the stag he shot on the hunting
grounds.."This was cf the very. choic,
est, of venison which. fairly. melted in
one' mouth, and tasted very. delici-
ous especially so in this cold wintery
weather. Many thanks. Ivan, as
Mrs; Smith helped me plenty to. get
away with this choice meat, and we
sure thought of you while eating the
same.
Mr. Glenn Walper of Dashwood
made a business call in town Wed-
nnesday.
Milk Makes lc. Rise
On Tuesday morning when our
milk man made his rounds It was the
"even money" as the auctioneer
would say, of 15c. a quart. This is
in keeping with most other places in
the district. Here in Zurich it was a
1c. raise', and we thought long ago
that 14c rate was rather unhandy as
it required so many pennies and it
was often hard making the change.
We hope they will be able 't'o keep
it at 15c a quart for some time at
least.
