Plant Presented
While Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Smith
spent a few days at London last
week they were presented with a
beautiful yellow chrysanthemum
plant filled with blooms and left on
the front door steps of their home,
unknown to them, and how thought-
ful it was to bring this cheer. The
recipients take this opportunity to
thank these friends for their gift, al-
so to thank those friends that pro-
tected the plant and placed is with
its colorful blooms from the strong
winds in a place of shelter. As a
friend in need, is a friend indeed.
Thanks, again for your plant and
the kindness -shown to it for pro-
tecting it until we arrived home.

I,EARNING REFRIGERATION
ONTARRYS productive capacity is the measure of her future
prosperity. To assure this province a prominent place in domestic and
foreign trade markets, skilled hands are needed. Increased production
of refrigeration units will mean a greater need for skilled servicing.
Veterans, basically 'trained in schools and ON THE JOB, will fill this
need as they are absorbed into industry. For those who have mastered
skilled occupations, higher wages, job security and better working con-
ditions are within easidr•reacil.
Through plans sponsored by the Department of Veterans. Affairs and
other agencies, hundreds of young workers are being trained for refrigera-
tion servicing. Graduates of training schools re ready now they will have share
o take
their places in industry. Craftsmen of the future,
in Ontario's progress—an important part to play in her industrial de-
velopment.
