The Zurich Branch of the W. I. met in the Town Hall, on Monday evening. The meeting was opened by singing the Institute Ode. This was followed by the Lord's Prayer. The minutes were then react follow- ed by the roll call. The business was conducted by •the president, at which time it was decided that the lunch for each meeting be supplied by the committee in charge. /Irs. Rose was appointed delegate to at- tend the three day convention to be held at London with Mrs. Roche as alternate. Mrs. Forrester, Mrs. Roche and Mrs. Meyers provided cars for one day each. An interesting Lions meeting was held on Monday evening at the re- gular supper meeting in the Domin- ion Hotel. There was a good at- tendance, although sonic were miss- ing owing to other activities. The guest speaker for the evening was Lion Elmer D. Bell, B. A., Barrister of Exeter, who spoke on the Gov- ermr.tent's taxation on Estates, and advised how much confusion can be avoided for thoe left behind if the estate has been put into order, and it will be a big help if the annual income tax forms are being made out each year.
