Farmers Are Busy The best of harvest weather is prevailing these days, plenty warm anii dots of sunshine, with the nice breezes, which all goes to make good harvest weather. But the summer har• - vest is practically all in and threshed Furthers have commenced the pulling of beans which in many places look to be a fairly good crop. With a few more weeks of this weather the crops will be all garnered in. There is considerable buckwheat out and this weather is just a bit too warm pension and one for mother's allow- ance were considered by the Huron County Old -age Pension Board last week at Goderich. MONEY MAKES THE MARE/GO Even in today's •mechanical age, this old proverb keeps cropping up -- and it still holds true. For, as rarm- esr know, procuring agricultural equipment and keeping • it running still costs money. Many farmers have been pleased to learn, hovfever, that a lack of ready cash need not prevent them from benefiting from the advantages of modern, mechanized farm aids. A farm improvement . loan, from the Bank of Montreal, has enabled them to get their share of the new labour- saving appliances. If you have been postponing neces- sary improvements to you farm, see Mr. Sewehli local manager of the 11' of M.
