Had Special Services
Special services were celebrated•
in the Amish Mennonite church ' of
the Bronson line the 'past two week-
ends. During the week -end of July
27th at the special services there was
the matter of selecting a younger
candidate for the ministry of the
econgregation and this lot fell to
Mr. Ephriam Gingerich of Stanley
Township. Over 'the -"past week -end
Bishops M. 0.• Yantzi of Baden •and
Samuel Schultz of Wellesley were
present and -ordained the young can-
didate into the ministny. We wish
Ephriam much success and courage
in this new obligation.

the double ring ceremony.. The or-
ganist was Douglas Gill, of Grand
Bend. D. Gill sang "Through the
Years" and "I'll Walk Beside You."
The bride was given in marriage by
her father; Mrs. Wm. L. Martin of
London, was matron of honour. The
bridesmaids were the bride's two sis-
ter's, Mrs. Jack Paton of Parkhill,
and Miss Audrey Besterd of Grand
Bend. The flower girl, was Barbara
Fahner, cousin of the bride. she
groomsman was Erwin Besterd, bro-
ther of the bride and the ushers were
Emerson Paton, Kirkton and Jack
Paton, Parkhill. Mrs. Bestard and
Mrs. Paton, mothers of the couple,
received at the reception held at the
bride's home. They left by motor foe
the Manitoulin Islands, and on their
return will reside in London.
