We Publish Wednesday
We are frequently being asked if
we observe the half holiday Wednes-
day, we do not as most other news-
papers in the district also do not ob-
serve this holiday, as it would com-
pletely upset out -weekly program, as
that is our publishing day, but we
are not too certain to be on 'the job
on Saturday afternoon, which is be-
ing observed as holiday by most of
the other papers. But don't let your
items pile up till Wednesday, for if
yOu do they must be kept over till
the following week. Please!

Repair's Can Cut Maintenance Costs
"Penny-wise and pound-foolish"—
that is the phrase, used to describe
folk who invite trouble by refusing
to make even wise investments. There
are some _people, for example, who
don't want to bother patching a
leaky roof—until the veiling collap-
se's. It's a lot easier—and much
less expensive—to attend to these
repairs at the first sign of trouble.
And the lack of ready cash need
not be an obstacle t• your Home Im-
provement Plans. If you are in a
position to repay, a Bank of Mon-
treal Personal Loan can provide the
financial aid you reqeire. The cost
is very low—only 2'7c for a $100
loan, repayable in 12 monthly instal-
ments, equal to 6% per annum.
There are no extras, no handling
charges, no deductions.
If you are planning home repairs,
or need cash for any good reason,
pay a visit to the Bank of Montreal.
Gordon Sewell, manager w,ili be glad
to discuss your plans with you.
