merly stationed at Port Albert with

London, July 9th, was the wife .;ot
the late James .Dayman.The former.
Catherine Makins, was born in Grey
County in 1865, the daughter cif
Henry and Sarah Makins. In 1484
she married John J. Smith of Zu,and
they farmed in Stanley Twp
then moved to Huy Township where
they farmed until retiring to Zurich,
Seven years later John J. Smith pas-
sed. away. in Zurich. Four year.stlater
she married James Dayman and gnoy-
ed to his farm in Tuckersmith,'firona
there they moved to Kippen and then
to lIensall• James Dayman passed a
way June 24, 1946. Mrs. Daman
had been in poor health since 'then.
Surviving are 3 sons, Herbert ,Smith

Emerson Smith, Kippen;
Melvin Smith, Zurich; one daughter,
