Fine Rain Sunday
"Just What the Doctor Ordered"
is an old saying that surely holds
good with the weatherman when he.
let go that lovely shower on Sunday
evening. We were some sixty miles
from home, and the rain had visited
everywhere we came along. Just
enough to make thing perk up and
how they are coming along-
Crops
lonbCrops are Growing
As one drives through the country
we cannot help but admire how the
crops are coming along, although a
bit later than some years, but the
fall wheat and hay crops look very
good and are coining along nicely.
Some farmers are busy at the haying'
already, and will get off to a -good
start. One sees some lovely bean
fields which are .coming along about
as nice as we could hope for. They
really look good as they are being
cultivated. Corn also is doing well.

TRADITIONALLY, Ale has always been distri-
buted in green bottles but, owing to the
present shortage of green glass, some Ale is
being bottled in white or amber bottles.
This is a temporary measure—and does not in
any way affect the quality of the product.
