Smith were Sunday guests with Mr. ana Mrs. Milne Rader and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Dinnin in their cottage at Grand Bend. With the official opening of the summer season on Saturday of this week, that famous resort is get- ting in its usual stride, and soon the place will be a busy spot again for a few months. In addition to the Lakeview Casino and ninny other places of amusement, there is the new Alden Theatre which has just opened and is receiving splendid pat- ronage. Johnny O'Clock Starring: DICK POWWEI,L, EVELYN KEYES (Adult Entertainment) With CARTOON and MUSICAL SHORT First Evening Show Commences. 7 Matinee Saturdays at 2.30 p.m. Sunday Midnight at 12.05 a.m. p.m A near perfect attendance was present at the regular and last meet- ing for the physical year of the Zur- ich Lions Club on Monday eve. This is the last meeting before the sum-- mef holiday season and will be again resumed in 'September. The enter- tainment part was a quizz conduct- ed by Lion Bill, the Secretary, and was interesting with the losing side paying' their traditional fine. Then was a very interesting part of the evening's program, namely the in- stallation of the new officers, the re- ports of the convenors of the various committees, and a general windup of the old year and the introduction df the new management who have now taken' over. All the committees have been formed, and the Zurich (Club now has its second past -presid- ent in .Ivan Yungblut, Dr. P. J. 0' - Dwyer being the first president. And so time goes on, and as it does we trust the local Club will prosper on to greater achievements. Wiggert officiating when Del- ores Klopp, youngest daughter of Mr. Oscar Klopp and the late Mrs, Klopp of Zurich, was united in marriage to Mr. Lester Trembly, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Trembly, Sr., of De- troit. A reception was held at the latter's home where about eighty guests were present. Mr. Oscar Kopp; Mr a.nd Mrs. Earl Ttrablut, Mrd. Howard Klopp;- Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Klopp attended the recept- ion.
