1, On Trip To West
Mr. Daniel Steinbach of South
Bend, Ind., is visiting with relatives
and friends here for a few days. It
is some years since Mr. ,Steinbach
was here last, and to meet him is
a real treat, as he is a most wonder-
ful .conversationalist. - Mr. Stein
bach is leaving Thursday for Holly,
Mich., his fernier home, and is be-
ing accompanied by his brother and
:sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry
I'Steinbach of Zurich, and from Holly
will go on to Battle Creek, Mich.,
taking the train on a trip to North
Dakota, where they will visit friends
'in that vicinity.
Attended Graduation
Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Haberer
modern housewife.' She ° appreciates :attended the dinner and graduation
the advantages of modern .plumbing, i':ereise,s at Guelph, which was held
hot -and -cold running water, and the
new labour-saving appliances in a
home - making for pleasant, happy
living. And so she plans to modern-
ize and brighten her own home.
That's why her plans include a
visit with her husband to the Bank
of Montreal. She knows the B of. M
Personal . Loan flan has helped
thrifty planners' to benefit from the
savings that can often be effected by
buying things for cash.
If you are in a position to repay,
it is easy to get a personal loan from
the B of M for any useful purpose.
The low cost will surprise you —
only 27 cents a month for a $100
loan, repayable in twelve monthly
instalments. Of course, you can
borrow more or less than $100 at the
same proportionate rate, for a short-
er of longer period—and there are
no extra charges.
Don't let the lack of ready cash
interfere with (your home ifnprove-
meat programme. Drop in and see
Gordon Sewell, manager, at the B of
M. You will find him interested in
your problems and glad to help you
—in strict confidence, of course.

their second daughter, Aryls, was
amongst the graduates and received
her deploma on the year's work in
Home Economics. The girls looked
very' attractive in their long white
dresses- mostly made by themselves,
which is a credit to them, as well as
;their efficient teachers. They have
the best wishes. -of their:.m'any friends
to continue in the splendid work.

A near perfect attendance was
present at the regular and last meet-
ing for the physical year of the Zur-
ich Lions Club on Monday eve. This
is the last meeting before the sum--
mef holiday season and will be again
resumed in 'September. The enter-
tainment part was a quizz conduct-
ed by Lion Bill, the Secretary, and
was interesting with the losing side
paying' their traditional fine. Then
was a very interesting part of the
evening's program, namely the in-
stallation of the new officers, the re-
ports of the convenors of the various
committees, and a general windup
of the old year and the introduction
df the new management who have
now taken' over. All the committees
have been formed, and the Zurich
(Club now has its second past -presid-
ent in .Ivan Yungblut, Dr. P. J. 0' -
Dwyer being the first president. And
so time goes on, and as it does we
trust the local Club will prosper on
to greater achievements.
