Seaforth 15 'RUNG and CO. Of CANADA LTD, (ESSENTIAL WAR INDUSTRY) SAFEKEEPING FOR VALUABLES Wills and Personal Valuables May Be Kept in a B of M Safety Deposit Box. Fire and theft are a source of wor- ry to those keeping valuable .papers and possessions at home. Some peo- ple take certain precautions to guard against these menaces, but omit to safeguard against the danger of for- getfulness. For memory is a tricky thing. Over the years, matters once in the foreground of the mind are gradu— ally forgotten as those of the mom- ent replace them. So, in the event of fire or disaster, or any other cris- is, many families are unable to locate wills, family records and the ,securit- ies .provided .for their support. Have you provided for the future security and comfort of your family by plac- ing your valuaibles in a really safe place, such as a safety deposit box at the bank? Discussing this matter of forget- fulness with us a few days ago, local Mank of Montreal manager, Gordon Sewell remarked on the truth of the old proverb, "Out of sight, out ,of mind.' "During the war years" he said, "many residents had to run the risks involved in home -safekeep- ing, when safety deposit boxes were unobtainable. But it is no longer necessary, for a new supply of boxes was received at the B of •M office here a short time ago, and a few are still available for rental." Mr. Sewell pointed out that a B of M safety deposit box provided safe- keeping requirements at a very low cost. He added that :he would be glad to have those interested drop In at the branch whenever convenient, as he would be only too pleased to help them make safekeeping arrangemen- ts best suited to their individual needs. 444. .h°.8'o>.444+++44+++pit fi.4.4*4^r`i•4•i•4.1.1.444..14.44.
