the funeral of their mother, Mrs.
Hy. Weseloh on Tuesday.

drive for clothing and money for the
British Flood Relief which needs are
urgent. Kindly leave your donations
at the Zurich Town Hall or at the
Public Schools not later than Sat-
urday May 17th. Try and help the
needy as much as possible.
Mr. Gordon Hess attended the
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
School. at Kitchener for several days
last week. His father, Mr. H. G.
Hess attended the Sales Refrigerat-
ion Convention in that city. It means
much to, have our local men qualified
to 'be able to serve our refrigerators
instead of having to send for outside
service men.
Last week saw some veiny, cold wea-
ther for May, and many of the early
plants and flowers got nipped a
bit with the frosts. This week it is
much warmer and had a heavy rain
on Tuesday night which will delay
the seeding operations for some,days
again.

daughter, May Marie, to Clarence
Ray McNeil, son of ' Mr. and Mrs.

Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Siebert, Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Siebert and sons of
Detroit; Miss Nora Siebert of Lan-
sing, Mich; Mrs. W. R. Major of
Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. 'Clarence Hoff-
man and son Bobbie of Galt; Mr.
and Mrs. W. A. Siebert and daughter
Gaile of town, had a most pleasant
visit at the home of ..their mother.
Mrs. Wm. (Siebert, .Sr., on Mother's
Day, Sunday.
Mrs. Anna Schroeder
Mrs. Anna Schroeder, 68, died at
her residence, 66 Brubacher, St., Kit-
chener. She was born Sept. .1878, in
Waterloo Twp, a daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. C. Harna.ck, Mrs. Schr-
oeder was a member of Zion Evan-
gelical Church. Surviving are 14 broo-
thers, Charles of Owosso, Mich, Rob-
etr of Bridgeport; George of Alta.;
Edward of Detroit and two sisters.
Her husband Henry Schroeder died
in March 1929. The funeral was held
on Monday from the Ratz-Bechtel
Funeral Home with interment in Mt
Hope Cemetery. Rev. E. S. Hallman

TO FARMERS
Goderich elevator 'funds are now
available.
The refund from the Goderich
Elevator and Transit Co., Ltd. of
overcharges made 'on grain loaded in
'bags during the period of August
16, 1943 to June 1945, is now held
in trust by the Federation of Agric-
ulture of Huron County for distrib-
ution. •
All farmers and feeders in the
County who assumed this overcharge
may secure refunds 'by furnishing
proofs as to. grain purchased on
which overcharges were paid.
A sheet of explanation as ro proofs,
etc., is being sent out to the town-
ship units and may be secured from
your local secretary. '
By agreement with the Goderich
Elevator and W.P.T.B., the unclaim-'
ed residue may be used for Junior.
Farmer Organizations in the County.
Anyone wishing to do so may assign
their claims for this purpose. All
claims must 'be made within thirty
deiys of the above notice to W. V.
Roy, Londesboro, Secretary -Treasur-
er of the Huron County Federation
of Agriculture.
